아질레익산은 주요 각질제거성분은 아니예요. 하지만 안티박테리얼, 미백효과 (멜라닌 생성억제효과)모두 있는것은 사실이예요. 
여드름용 연고 "아젤리아" 가 아질레익산에서 이름을 딴거구요, 미백필쪽에 AHA, TCA 와 같은 케미컬필링 성분과 칵테일되어 사용되지요.  

항균, 멜라닌 생성방지효과가 모두 있는 특성때문에 여드름관리를 할때 흔히 동반되는 부작용인 염증후과색소침착 (흔히 여드름색소침착이라 하죠...여드름짠 후에 남는 자국..) 을 막아주는 용도로도 필링관리에 많이 사용됩니다.

제품설명중에 모공을 정화해준다는 것은 반드시 AHA/BHA 처럼 각질을 녹이는 기능외에 "턴오버촉진" 을 의미하는 경우가 많아요.  어차피 여드름이란것이 턴오버가 둔화되면서 악화되는것이기때문에 정상적인 턴오버 사이클만 맞춰줘도 "각질제거효과" 를 느낄 수 있죠.  대표적으로 턴오버를 촉진해주는 성분인 레티노익 애씨드 (ex.레티놀) 역시 원래는 여드름치료에 사용되었잖아요.

여드름치료제의 성분들인 아젤레익애씨드나 벤조일퍼록사이드등은 모두 어느정도의 피부세포턴오버의 효과가 있습니다. 그래서 모공을 정화해주는 효과, 즉 블랙헤드완화효과를 가지죠.  저도 가끔 블랙헤드가 심하다고 느낄땐 5% BP 연고를 콧등에 발라줍니다.

아질레익산을 다른 AHA/BHA 와 함께 사용할때 턴오버/각질제거효과가 더 높아지긴 하지만 T 존주위에만 사용하는 목적이라면 나름 만족하실 수 있습니다.

주의점이라면 그래도 약물이므로 너무 장기간 (3개월이상) 은 사용하지 않는것이 좋고...
인심카테고리에는 B 에 속하는 약물입니다. 임신/수유중 사용에 "비교적" 안전한 성분입니다. .
